Justice Clarence Thomas: States must guess at what “undue burden” this Court will identify next
Pro-life leaders are calling out self-professed Republicans who, based on their voting record, are Republican in Name Only (RINO). The U.S. Supreme Court, however, is helping to turn men of principle into politicians.
The High Court last year overturned Texas pro-life law HB2, which set minimum health standards for abortion facilities. It did so because the law supposedly placed an “undue burden” on women seeking an abortion. In his dissenting opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas said, “[T]he majority seriously burdens states, which must guess at how much more compelling their interests must be to pass muster and what ‘commonsense inferences’ of an undue burden this Court will identify next.”

We’d first like to say we hope you are having a holy, happy, blessed Christmas — and yes, it is, of course, still Christmas.
Christmas joy cannot be contained to one 24-hour period; it spills over for eight days, which comprise what the Church teaches us is actually one very long celebration. See how much atheists and protestants miss out on? Who says Catholics are dull and serious? We put the “P” in Party!
But to the point of seriousness, Church Militant is often accused of being too serious and negative and all that. It’s true that we discuss many things that are difficult to hear. Believe me, they are difficult to read and hear about and then retell.
THE VORTEX: REMEMBER – Don’t let the past just die

Following the 1993 blockbuster movie “Schindler’s List,” director Steven Spielberg was so haunted by the story of the Holocaust that he set about to begin capturing video testimony of survivors before they died and their witness would be lost.
In a similar vein, we here at Church Militant have become very sensitive to the fact that a living memory of the Church prior to the last 50 years will soon be dying with older Catholics. The vast majority of baptized Catholics these days have no living memory of the Church prior to the liberal, modernist, protestant, heretical bomb that was dropped on the Church in the 1960s.
In a surprise announcement, the FBI is re-opening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email account during her tenure as Secretary of State.
A Friday letter from FBI director James Comey stated that “due to recent developments,” in particular “the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” he had decided to re-open the case.

I’m Michael Voris coming to you with a live “Vortex” for the first time ever.
Too many in the Church today leave out any discussion of the devil and Hell. Not here at Church Militant. We understand all too clearly that we have an infernal enemy, and he is able to use world events to influence individuals and families and peoples and nations to commit great sins: to deny God, to pervert truth and choose the path to eternal damnation.
This is why Church Militant is committed to talking about news and events — because we Catholics live in a world where we must struggle against worldliness — and this doesn’t happen in a mystical vacuum, but every day, within the context of events that shape cultural attitudes and morals and philosophies and ideologies.
